From ACI Marina Split to The Island of Brac | 30 min yachting journey | Premier Venue: Lemongarden Hotel
SATURDAY|DAY 1
The journey begins in Split, where Roman heritage meets contemporary Mediterranean life. Guests arrive at ACI Marina Split for a private welcome and boarding, followed by time to settle into their yacht and meet fellow guests. Each vessel is fully prepared in advance, with curated provisions, professional crew, and all onboard logistics arranged to ensure a seamless start.
In the afternoon, the flotilla departs Split, passing the Riva promenade and Diocletian’s Palace before opening onto the Adriatic. The first crossing leads to the island of Brač, with arrival in the coastal village of Sutivan, located between Supetar and Milna.
The retreat opens in the evening with a welcome soirée and dinner at the Lemongarden Hotel, set around the pool and garden terraces. Designed as both a social and cultural introduction to the retreat, the evening combines seasonal regional cuisine, live entertainment, and a surprise guest appearance. Guests are introduced to the retreat facilitators in an informal setting, offering direct access to the expertise that underpins the week ahead.

SUNDAY|DAY 2
The morning begins with a relaxed sail along the southern coastline of Brač toward the vibrant town of Bol. Breakfast is enjoyed onboard at an unhurried pace, allowing time to ease into the day while taking in the open Adriatic.
On arrival, guests gather at Hotel Elaphusa for Wellbeing Atelier #1, hosted in a modern, purpose-designed setting. The session introduces self-awareness as the foundation of intelligent wellbeing, focusing on personal patterns, values, and decision-making. Led by the retreat’s facilitators, the atelier blends guided discussion with practical frameworks designed for real-world application. A light lunch is served during the session to maintain continuity and ease.
The afternoon is intentionally open. Guests may relax at Zlatni Rat, one of the Adriatic’s most recognisable beaches, or explore Bol’s waterfront, cafés, and boutiques. Returning to the yacht is possible at any time for those seeking privacy or downtime. Spa and wellness services, yoga, and a range of sport and water activities are available throughout the day, allowing each guest to engage as little or as much as they wish.

The approach is contemporary and applied, designed to be engaging without being prescriptive. A light lunch is served during the atelier.
The afternoon allows for individual choice. Guests may book Thalasso Wellness treatments, join yoga, take part in sport or water activities, explore Bol’s galleries, cafés, and waterfront, or return to their yacht for privacy and downtime.

A Fully Hosted Experience
Before You Arrive
Cabin Selection & Sleeping Arrangements
The choice of cabin is an important element of the Novalume Retreat experience, particularly in supporting rest, privacy, and ease. Single occupancy is recommended wherever possible, allowing the cabin to function as a private sanctuary for rest and integration. For guests who choose to share, it is worth ensuring the arrangement is with someone with whom complete comfort and familiarity already exist. While Novalume cabins are spacious and thoughtfully designed, they remain an intimate personal environment. Guests may also wish to note that not all cabins feature en-suite bathrooms. Reviewing cabin layouts in advance can help ensure expectations around privacy and facilities are aligned. These considerations are offered simply to support a calm, restorative stay — each guest is, of course, free to choose what best suits them.
Arrival Timing & Embarkation
The arrival window sets the tone for the Novalume Retreat. Guests may wish to plan arrival at the marina by mid-afternoon on Saturday, allowing time to settle aboard before departure later in the afternoon. This window offers space to become familiar with the yacht and to meet fellow guests, the crew, and the Novalume team in an unhurried, private setting.Arriving with this margin allows embarkation to feel intentional rather than rushed, supporting a smooth transition from land to sea before sailing. As with all elements of the journey, this is offered as a consideration — the intention is simply to support ease, presence, and a cohesive start to the retreat experience.
Balance & Personal Rhythm
Each Novalume Retreat is designed around the individual. Preferences across wellbeing ateliers, mindfulness, movement, water activities, dining, and cultural exploration are gathered in advance and thoughtfully woven into the experience onboard. With this level of personalisation, guests may find it supportive to resist the urge to fill every moment. Time to restore, enjoy nature, or simply be at ease on the yacht can be just as valuable as any curated offering. Novalume remains intentionally flexible. Last-minute adjustments are always welcome, and guests are encouraged to listen to their bodies and energy as the retreat unfolds, adapting their rhythm accordingly. These considerations are offered to support balance, presence, and a deeply restorative experience.
